PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

Brais Patiño López is Director of the Litigation and Arbitration Department.

He studied Law at the University of A Coruña and subsequently earned an MBA and an MCF&L from ESADE in Madrid.
With over 20 years of experience in civil procedural practice, and having worked at two of the most prominent national law firms, Uría Menéndez and PwC, his practice focuses primarily on advising on disputes and litigation in civil, commercial, corporate, and financial asset matters.

He has provided legal advice and representation to numerous Spanish and international clients in various judicial and arbitration proceedings involving civil, commercial, corporate, real estate, and financial assets, as well as contractual matters, unfair competition, and M&A. In this capacity, he has participated in the resolution of corporate disputes, challenges to corporate resolutions, disputes arising from the transfer of shares, directors’ liability actions, conflicts derived from collaboration and guarantee agreements, unfair competition actions, litigation involving industrial property rights, litigation arising from business acquisition processes, investment agreements, project finance and business valuation, complex litigation related to banking and insurance entities, etc.

Furthermore, he has handled traditional procedural practice in the areas of property law and general contract law, such as the enforcement of property rights, contract performance, construction liability, or the enforcement of guarantees.

Additionally, he has represented various clients in white-collar criminal proceedings related to matters within his field of expertise.
