PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

Irune de la Iglesia is the partner in charge of the Tax Department.

With more than 25 years of experience in tax and corporate advisory, her professional career has focused on providing comprehensive tax advice to individuals—residents and non-residents—legal entities, and M&A.

Her extensive experience in high-net-worth matters, corporate restructuring, tax planning, and business reorganisation and restructuring has led her to take part in mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions and disposals of listed and unlisted companies of public relevance. She has also been involved in proceedings before the CNMV for authorisation files relating to the incorporation and registration of ECRs and SGIICs, as well as the incorporation and admission to trading on the MAB of SOCIMIs.

As a member of various Boards of Directors of several companies, she has served as Legal Adviser, Board Secretary, Deputy Secretary, or representative of directors.

Her direct, personal relationship with clients, who have placed complete trust in her professionalism over the years, is her main professional achievement, and they highlight her ability both to simplify complex corporate situations and structures and to identify potential tax contingencies.

Arbitrator at the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), specialising in corporate and tax matters.

Lecturer on the ICAM Special Course in Business Advisory (corporate and tax area).

Accredited mediator certified by the ICAM (negotiation and mediation in disputes).
